About Dr. Mike

Bio: Dr. Mike is America’s Culinary Interventionalist. As a cardiologist and a chef, Dr. Mike has combined his culinary talents with cutting-edge medical expertise and insight. In addition to continuing his clinical work, he currently serves as affiliate faculty at The University of Montana, College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences. His most recent critically acclaimed book, The Fallacy of the Calorie: Why the Modern Western Diet Is Killing Us and How to Stop It, served as the basis for a continuing education program (in conjunction with The University of Virginia) for physicians, and other health and culinary professionals in 2015.
